In addition to the Wheeling blues festival this weekend (see previous post), the fine Cincy Blues Fest is Friday and Saturday. I've never managed to get there, but I keep hearing that it's a great event, with lots of music packed into one ... He was paired that night with St. Pete's own boogie wizardress, Liz Pennock (a Marietta, Ohio native), and her guitar-playing husband, Dr. Blues.
